Dear Physicians and Patients,All of us are observing the recent developments in Ukraine with great pain and anxiety.
War is the last thing we could have expected in Europe in the 21st century. Innocent people are perishing and the work of many generations has been ruined. The spreading waves of this tide of misfortune are also being felt in Poland.
The mission of the Medical Polonia Foundation includes the education of young Polish and Polonia physicians, as well as aid to physicians and their patients beyond Poland’s eastern borders. Due to the situation which is now prevalent in Ukraine, this latter goal is now our urgent priority – if the Polonia physicians do not survive the war, there can be no question of furthering their education…
Our goal today is to help Polonia physicians in Ukraine and protect their families. Our aid for our colleagues who are fighting to survive will at the same time help all the patients who are in their care.
We would like to ask you to join in this humanitarian aid undertaken by the Medical Polonia Foundation.
Perhaps not all of you are able, or know how, to join in this effort. However, we would deeply appreciate your financial support to realize our goal. If you could consider how many hours of your professional time you would be inclined to devote to our humanitarian work, we would suggest a donation in an amount equivalent to your planned charitable work, which can be donated to one of the accounts of the Medical Polonia Foundation.
The Foundation does not incur costs of office space, secretaries, employees or business trips. The entire amount of your donation will be devoted towards its current statutory goals.
At the present moment, the only goal of the Foundation is support for the Polonia physicians from Ukraine, their families and patients.

U podstaw powstania Fundacji leży nieustanne dążenie do budowania i umacniania kontaktów między wszystkimi lekarzami polskiego pochodzenia.
Ambicją Fundacji Polonii Medycznej jest zbieranie odpowiednich środków, a następnie spożytkowanie ich na realizację głównych kierunków jej działania.
Streszczając zapisy statutowe, celami Fundacji są:
- organizacja, podyplomowego kształcenia oraz ułatwianie wszelkich innych form wymiany naukowej i zawodowej miedzy lekarzami polskimi a polonijnymi.
- pomoc w działaniach lekarzy polonijnych w celu poprawy sytuacji zdrowotnej najbardziej potrzebujących wsparcia członków Polonii.
Wszyscy członkowie Fundacji Polonii Medycznej pracują pro publico bono, poświęcając swój czas i siły w głębokiej wierze iż cele Fundacji warte są ich wysiłku.
Osoby oraz instytucje, które popierają cele Fundacji oraz są w stanie dać temu wyraz przez wsparcie ekonomiczne lub organizacyjne, proszone są o wpłaty na konto bankowe Fundacji Polonii Medycznej lub/i kontakt z Fundacją.
